When a  natural disaster like the huge storm that hit the US East Coast occurs, many are motivated to offer help. Google has set up this page for you to browse the many options you have to offer help.

Unfortunately, help for poor people in these areas was needed before the storm and will continue to be needed during and after the recovery.

Visit this section of the Tutor/Mentor Institute web site to see how maps can be used to support the distribution of volunteers, dollars and other needed resources to all parts of a geographic region where help is needed.
