On this web site we maintain a list of nearly 200 Chicago area organizations that do various type of volunteer-based tutoring and/or mentoring. We organize this by sections of the city and suburbs to help voluneers, parents and donors find programs near where they work or live.

Since April 2011 we have not been able to edit or update this list but that problem is now fixed and I've gone through the entire list to make sure all links work and that those that point to organizations that don't show a "tutor/mentor" emphasis on their web site are deleted.

Please check the list. If you operate a volunteer-based tutoring and/or mentoring program serving K-12 youth in the Chicago region, you can submit a link if it's not on this list. Just register, then log in and then use the ADD NEW LINK button to submit.  The site is moderated so all links must be approved and we reserve the right to not include links that we don't think fit the list.

If you operate a mentoring program beyond Illinois/Northern Indiana check this list. It has not been updated yet, but it contains links to programs all over the country.
