I've received many awards and have been interviewed often over the past 40 years. Recognition by peers is special.

In December, Kelly Fair, Executive Director of Polished Pebbles posted an interview of Dan Bassill, founder of the Tutor/Mentor Connection (1993) and Tutor/Mentor Institute, LLC (2011) on her blog,  calling me a "Social Service Samurai".

See Strengthening Chicago's Youth blog article about National Mentoring Month, and their recognition of Tutor/Mentor Connection.

Support Tutor/Mentor Institute, LLC because you value the work not because you want a tax deduction.  Since 2011 the Tutor/Mentor Institute, LLC has continued the work started by the Tutor/Mentor Connection (T/MC) in 1993. While I'm trying to build a volunteer team to create a new non profit structure for the T/MC, so donations can receive a tax deduction, I am seeking your support for continuing this work under my current structure.

Thank you to those who have already sent financial support through one of the options below. If you can add your own contribution, please do so today.
