Still time to register. Check out the list of workshops and speakers for the Nov. 19 and 20 Tutor/Mentor Leadership and Networking Conference, being held at Northwestern University in Evanston, Il.   Visit the Conference web site or our Ning Discussion for details and to get involved.

The conference is a networking event. Each participant can use it to expand the network of people he/she works with to help at-risk kids. This article illustrates how networks grow, and how the people we meet can help us in the work. The writer, Valdis Krebs, will be doing a presentation this Friday at the conference.

Registration is open. If you would like a group rate, or a scholarship, call the Tutor/Mentor Connection at 312-492-9614, or email tutormentor2@earthlink.net
