This link illustrates that businesses are engaging employees in tutor/mentor activities, supported by company resources. This takes place in San Francisco, not Chicago (that we know of).  Somehow I'd like to find a way that these business programs and volunteers would be connecting with community-based programs so that there would be a greater exchange of ideas and a greater involvement of corporate talent in building the infrastructure to support such programs.
