The CFC is the Combined Federal Campaign which is the Federal government's workplace giving campaign, and through it Federal public servants have donated more than $1 billion to thousands of local, national, and international non-profits over the past five years. CFC monies are unrestricted, and if the CFC were a foundation, it would be the 10th largest foundation in the USA in terms of actual giving.
In the more than 20 years since Mercy Home for Boys & Girls established the Friends First volunteer mentoring program, we have matched more than 1,000 Chicago area boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 17 with caring adults who have become reliable friends and role models.
