The Department of Education has a Promise Neighborhood Web site and is providing planning grants to develop stratgegies based on the Harlem Children's Zone.

Visit the web site at http://www2.ed.gov/programs/promiseneighborhoods/index.html

Read what T/MC says about Promise Zones

View T/MC maps and stratgegy.  We want to be part of the planning grants for Chicago or any other city that wants to be more strategic in applying for this money, and using it to make great non-school, "birth to work" pipelines available in high poverty zip codes.

Contact the T/MC to invite us to be in your planning team process.
