One of the people I had the pleasure of connecting with at the Mentoring Summiit was Dr. Jay Winsten, Associate Dean and Center Director at Harvard School of Public Health and the Frank Stanton Director of the School’s Center for Health Communication The Center’s mission is to mobilize the immense power of mass communication to motivate positive behavior change.

One strategy that has been developed by the Center is the annual National Mentoring Month, which raises visibility for mentoring in January of every year.
