Visit http://www.cs-il.org to learn about the ways Community Shares of Illinois connects individuals, companies, and workplace donors with non profit organizations in Illinois.  The Tutor/Mentor Connection is a new member of Community Shares of Illinois, and money raised through this campaign helps us support more than 200 volunteer based tutoring/mentoring programs in the Chicago region with the information on this web site, and with networking, collaboration and capacity building events.

Share A Meal with Community Shares!   On Tuesday, March 11th restaurants in communities across Illinois have agreed to doante up to 30% of their proceeds to Community Shares. To be a successful event, we need your help to spread the word, and to encourage your friends, family and co-workers to dine at one of the participating restaurants.  Diners will be able to designate a portion of their bill (10%) to the Tutor/Mentor Connection, or any other member of Community Shares of Illinois.
