If you cannot attend the Tutor/Mentor Conference in Chicago on Nov. 15 and 16, or want additional networking and learing, Mark Gesner and UW-Parkside are hosting a mentoring conference entitled: “A Campaign for Mentoring: Leading Practices in Program Development.” Keynote speaker Joellen Gonder-Spacek, a national leader in the mentoring field, will provide an overview of recent mentoring developments in the United States and she will focus on the social return on investment of youth mentoring programs. The half day conference, which will also be the kickoff for a regional mentoring campaign, will be held on Friday, December 14 at the Trefoil Oaks Conference Center in Racine, WI.
