Visit http://www.tutormentorconference.org to see the workshops scheduled for the November 15 and 16 conference, and to register. If you want a scholarship, just request one and it will be approved.
The May and November conferences intend to draw attention to the need for tutor/mentor programs in high poverty neighborhoods, and to daw volunteers, donors and ideas to existing programs, while drawing leaders of those programs together to share ideas and network.
This is a grassroots event that works because leaders of many different tutor/mentor programs offer time to present workshops and participate. It only works as a shared effort. I hope you'll make an effort to attend, or to encourage others to participate.
