On May 17 and 18, 2007, the Tutor/Mentor Connection will host a Two-Day Tutor/Mentor Leadership and Networking Conference, at Northwestern University Law School in Chicago. We are now recruiting workshop presenters. If you would like to volunteer time for a workshop, use the presentation form at http://www.tutormentorconference.bigstep.com to submit a proposal.

The focus of this event, and all T/MC actions, is on collaboration and capacity building. Leaders of tutor/mentor programs are encouraged to participate, as well as leaders of citywide strategies aimed at making no school learning supports and volunteer-based tutor/mentor programs available to more youth in more places. Businesses and colleges interested in leading strategies that create pipelines to careers should also participate.

If you have questions, email tutormentor2@earthlink.net or call 312-492-9614. Fax workshop presenter forms to 312-492-9795
