So far we've added most of the articles to this site and fixed the links on the navigation bar. The LINKS have not been rebuilt. You can see the categories, but that is all. We also have not rebuilt the 'skin' so the look and feel is rather rough at this time.
You can view many of the links that are on this site in the RESOURCE section of http://www.tutormentorexchange.net. View the LINKS ARCHIVE section and you can find many resources.
We have close to 1000 links to put on this site. Hopefully we'll have this re built by early October.

| 9/11/06 - The LINKS section now has a link to an ARCHIVE which contains many of the links that are part of the LINKS library on this web site. The rest of the information on the Site Navigation bar hs been updated. Visit the MAPS area to see some of the maps that we've been creating to draw volunteers and donors to tutor/mentor programs in poverty areas of Chicago. |

| We've added a few links back into most of the links categories. This represents just a small percent of the total links that will be available once we get this re formated and re-populated. If you'd like to recommend a link, post a message in the forum and tell us what the link is about and how it relates to the material posted on this site. |

Eureka! We've found a new links module that works and have started to reload the 1000 plus links that are in the LINKS Library. We'll make this information public in a about two weeks.
You'll be able to rate links, search, add links, and comment...if you are a registered user on this site.
We've also improved the discussion forum, and hope you'll begin to use it.
From July 2005 through mid August 2006 the Tutor/Mentor Connection web site received more than 580,000 page views. In late August hackers began to hit the site and it was taken off line and rebuild on a new platform. In this thread you can read progress toward getting the site active again. |
