Hi Dan,

Its been some time since my last mail to you. I have been going over material from your website and it echoes in my heart because what you guys are doing is exactly what I dream about happening here. Just two weeks of perusing TMC material has expanded the horizon for Prime Initiative - you got me into a spin, not like Alice in Wonderland though: I have a fair picture of where I want to go.

But I need help and lots of it. My programme started in 2005 out of sympathy for rural children who were at an outright disadvantage because of geographical and political isolation and of course poverty. At the end they are left with a dysfunctional education (pls I am not trying to paint a dismal picture, I am describing my community). A young person could finish secondary school (high school for you) and not be able to write his or her name not to talk of writiing a complete sentence in any language talk less of English.

The needs are there and they are legion. However, you have given me hope because TMC/CC is a valid testimony as an ongoing activity with real people. I thank God for meeting you. Your website is already a blessing and will continue to be.

Thank you so much for giving me such an open hand. I really do appreciate it. My sleeves have been folded but I was like groping in the dark even though I knew what I wanted - you have given me and my community a good example and model.

Next time.

Abdiel
