The Mentoring Program establishes a one-to-one relationship between a screened, trained adult volunteer and a child in need of additional adult contact, guidance and support. Through weekly participation in social or recreational activities young people forge relationships with positive role models. Our staff is involved in a variety of tutoring programs, both on-site and at local schools. In our on-site program, trained high school student volunteers provide after-school tutoring for junior high school kids and Junior high tutors help elementary school students twice each week throughout the school year.
