The La Rabida Hospital tutoring program focuses on helping children from ages six to 14 with their schoolwork - primarily reading and math skills. Volunteers commit to helping one child for one and a quarter hours each week from October through May. The sessions are held at La Rabida. Available times are from 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. and 6 to 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday or Thursday evenings.
