The Off The Street Club is a place where 4 to 18 year old kids can go to get off of the streets of the west side of the city. A place safe from drug dealers, crackheads and gunfire. Founded in 1898, OTSC is Chicago's oldest boys and girls club and serves more than 3,000 kids in the Garfield Park area.
There are literally tons of things to do at the club, from arts and crafts to roller-skating to playing pool to shooting hoops to baking cookies. Kids can research school projects or play games on the many computers in the Learning Center. They can sing, dance and act in the Performing Arts Center or do hands-on projects in the Woodshop. Girls can experience real girl power and heightened self-esteem in the Girls center.
