Scholars are matched with an adult mentor who serves as friend, tutor and advisor as the student adjusts to the rigorous environment of a college preparatory school. Mentors are role models who take a special interest in the academic success and personal growth of Scholars. Mentors are selected from a culturally and socially diverse donor and volunteer base. Mentors and scholars meet one-on-one and attend Foundation-sponsored activities and events throughout the year.
