Circle-Rock Mentoring serves youth on Chicago''s west side through three mentoring programs: the One-to-One Mentoring Initiative, Team Mentoring, and Alumni Follow-Through Encouraging Resolve (AFTER). The One-to-One Mentoring Initiative matches youth in 4th-8th grades with adult mentors. Mentors and mentees meet once a week for an hour at our facility to build friendships aimed at developing the mentee''s competence, confidence, and character. Team Mentoring matches a group of 3 adult mentors with 10-15 middle school students. Teams meet weekly and cover a curriculum aimed at team-building, leadership development, and spiritual growth. Alumni Follow-Through Encouraging Resolve (AFTER) matches students in high school with adult mentors to help ensure these students'''' successful completion of high school in preparation for entrance to college.
