FREE GEEK Chicago is a pure mentoring program, with a dual purpose of recycling computer equipment. Participants in the program are instructed by volunteers on principles of computer technology, while in the process of sorting and refurbishing used computer equipment. After 20 hours in the earn-a-box program, the participant will receive one of the refurbished computers.
