TUTOR/MENTOR CONNECTION: LINKING IDEAS AND PEOPLE TO HELP INNER-CITY KIDS

This and other web sites and events hosted by the Tutor/Mentor Institute, LLC offers ways for people who want to close gaps between rich and poor in America to connect, share experiences and learn from each other.

Recruiting Talent Volunteers for Youth Tutoring, Mentoring, Learning Programs by daniel-f-bassill-7291

We all want to help kids but the problem seems overwhelming. Too much information and not enough time.

This and other T/MC web sites host a lot of information. It can't be learned in one visit. The information shared is for resource providers, political and faith leaders, business leaders, and for those who lead and volunteer in non profit organizations working with inner city youth. However, if you begin sharing stories of your own involvement in tutoring, mentoring or other youth development programs, as a volunteer, leader, boasrd member or youth served, you can inspire others to get involved. By reading articles posted by others you might find some new friends, new ideas, and new energy to support your own efforts.

If this is your first time visiting this web site, the Getting Started page is a great place to begin.
